HOLLAND & BELGIUM TOUR

Day 1 AMSTERDAM

Arrival at Amsterdam airport, transfer to the hotel by private coach and check-in. Free time. Dinner and overnight.

Day 2 AMSTERDAM

Breakfast. Today you will enjoy a full day city tour with a local guide. Amsterdam is built over 90 islands and crossed by more than 100 kilometres of canals, which are connected by 1,500 bridges. During the visit, you will see some of its landmarks such as the “Munttorren” (Mint Tower), Dam Square, the Royal Palace, the Basilica of Saint Nicholas, the famous floating flower market. Lunch is in a restaurant. In the afternoon, enjoy a relaxing canal cruise and keep discovering this enchanting city with your guide. Dinner and overnight.

Day 3 MARKEN - VOLENDAM - DEN OEVER

Breakfast and departure for a full day excursion in the “Polders” region. Your first stop will be Marken, a lovely fishermen’s town known for its characteristic wooden houses. You will then travel to Volendam, well known for its old fishing boats and the traditional clothing still worn by some residents. After a short visit, continue to Den Oever where you will see the “Afsluitdijk” (Closure Dike), a major causeway with a length of 32 kilometres. Lunch is in a restaurant on the way. In the afternoon arrive in Zaanse Schans, a residential area in which the 18th and 19th centuries are brought to life. It is famous for its collection of well-preserved historic windmills and houses. In the late afternoon, return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight in Amsterdam.

Day 4 ROTTERDAM - ANTWERP

Breakfast. In the morning leave Amsterdam behind and travel to Delft, famous for the production of fine porcelain with blue decorations on a white background. After the visit, continue towards Rotterdam, Europe’s largest port and a city with a varied architectural landscape, including sky-scrapers, an uncommon sight in other Dutch cities. Lunch is in a restaurant. In the afternoon, head to Antwerp, Belgium’s diamond and fashion capital, city of Rubens, and one of Europe’s most important ports. Dinner and overnight in Antwerp.

Day 5 ANTWERP - BRUSSELS

Breakfast. In the morning, you will have the chance to discover Antwerp’s most iconic landmarks during a half day guided tour. Lunch is in a restaurant. After lunch, travel to Brussels. Guided visit of the Belgian capital, a Royal residence and home to the EU, European Parliament and NATO. You will also see “Grand Place”, one of the most famous and beautiful squares in Europe. Dinner and overnight in Brussels.

Day 6 BRUGES - GHENT

Breakfast and departure for Bruges, where you will enjoy a guided visit of this charming city of art of the Flanders. Lunch is in a restaurant on the way. In the afternoon, you will discover the city of Ghent during a guided tour of the old town and St. Bavo’ Cathedral. You will access the chapel, where the polyptych altarpiece Adoration of the Mystic Lamb is kept. It is considered a masterpiece of European art and one of the world’s treasures. Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight in Brussels.

Day 7 LIEGE - NAMUR

Breakfast. Full day excursion to the cities of Liege and Namur where you will learn about their history and see their iconic landmarks, accompanied by your guide. Lunch is in a restaurant. Return to Brussels in the late afternoon. Dinner and overnight.

Day 8 DEPARTURE

Breakfast. Check-out and free time until the transfer to the airport.
