Day 1 ARRIVAL IN LAUSANNE
Arrival in Lausanne and check in at the hotel. Welcome dinner in one of Lausanne’s many awarded restaurants. Overnight.
Day 2 VEVEY - CHEXBRES - ST. SAPHORIN - RIVAZ – LE DÉZALEY
After breakfast your journey will start with a presentation and wine tasting on the Domain “Faverges”in Saint-Saphorin. This area is admired by visitors for its landscape, with the sloping hills and the church tower silhouette of its church. Your host will be delighted to serve unique, regional products. On the way back, you will embark on the Lavaux-Panoramic train above the village of Saint-Saphorin, which will take you to Chexbres station, via Rivaz and the heights of Dézaley, this stunning terraced vineyard, whose slopes dive into Lake Geneva. Lunch in restaurant. Continue to ChocoAtelier Vevey. With help of a chocolate expert, you will make your very own chocolate creation according to the season and discover your skills as a creative craftsman. Dinner in the restaurant of the legendary Denis Martin, who will plunge you into a universe filled with memories and future visions at the same time. Overnight in hotel.
Day 3 BERN - EMMENTAL
Breakfast and departure to Bern. Meeting with the guide on arrival and start of the city tour. Explore the most famous sights and the most secret corners of this magical city. You will admire, among other things, the late-Gothic cathedral, the Bundeshaus, the cage tower and the famous Zytglogge (clock tower), the oldest city gate of Bern from the 13th century. Walk through the arcades and learn important and funny facts about the history and everyday life in Bern. Lunch in the restaurant. In the afternoon continue to Affoltern in the Emmental valley and guided tour of the show dairy. On the tour through the four cheese dairy generations, you will find out some exciting details of the history of Emmentaler AOP and cheese production generally. And of course you will find out how the holes come into the King of cheese. An experienced cheese maker will help you make your own cream cheese, that you can take home with you. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 4 RHEINFELDEN - ZÜRICH
After a rich breakfast departure to the beautiful Feldschlösschen brewery in Rheinfelden. On a tour of the brewery, you will learn exciting facts about the company’s history and beer production and receive many unforgettable insights into the world of Feldschlösschen. After the beer tasting and the lunch you will continue to Zurich. You will meet with the Zurich guide and get to know more than “just” Zurich. This fantastic, cosmopolitan city has a variety of characteristic places to offer. The Grossmünster, Lake Zurich, Bahnhofstrasse and Zoo Zurich are just the beginning. Dinner in the Ecco Restaurant Zurich, known for its characterful mixtures of virtuosity and taste purism – awarded two Michelin stars. Natural flavors of seasonal ingredients are cleverly combined with the food concept, creating the unmistakable aroma kitchen of the Ecco: pointed, intense, unexpected. Overnight.
Day 5 ZURICH
Breakfast in the hotel. Today a cooking class awaits you at the incomparable Sherly’s Kitchen. Sherly’s Kitchen is where cooking, learning, and culture meet. The classes are designed by a cheese sommelier, cooking instructor, and communication specialist with a high dose of engagement elements – that’s why Sherly’s Kitchen classes are always hands-on, informative and memorable. Enjoy a wonderful cheese cooking class with wine tasting followed by a chocolate tasting and presentation. Free lunch and afternoon to do a little shopping. In the evening you will enjoy an unforgettable dine around tour with the guide, a culinary journey through the city of Zurich
including the most famous Swiss dishes and facts about them. Overnight.
Day 6 LUZERN - MONTE PILATUS - ESCHOLZMATT-MARBACH
Breakfast and transfer to Lucerne. Unwind on the Pilatus Kulm. Take in the overwhelming mountain panorama, culinary highlights and summer terrace at 2,132 meters above sea level. Free lunch in the restaurant on the top of the mountain. In the afternoon arrival at the hotel and free time. Farewell dinner at the Gasthof Rössli in Escholzmatt, the site of world-famous top chef Stefan Wiesner, who brings together avant-garde creativity, cuisine and services like no other. Overnight.
Day 7 GOODBYE SWITZERLAND!
