Most of Poland’s territory is made up of plain which goes from the Baltic sea in the north to the Carpathian Mountains in the south. Poland always had to fight to maintain its independence, perhaps for this reason Polish people are said to be determined and strong-minded. Cities like Cracow, Warsaw, Gdansk and the unrivalled landscapes of the Masurian Lake District will astonish everyone, without exception.
